Dear Amsterdam Families,
The weeks of summer seem to be flying by! I can not believe that it is already August. Where does the time go? Before we know it, the first day of school will be upon us! Over the past few weeks, I hope that you have been able to enjoy spending time with family and friends! At AMS, we have been busy getting ready for the start of another exciting and fun-filled year.
To get our 2024-2025 school year kicked off, I welcome all Amsterdam students and their families to attend our third annual, “Chalk the Walk” event on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM outside the main entrance of Amsterdam School. Be sure to bring your sidewalk chalk and smiles and decorate the sidewalk of AMS!
Finally, I have also included some important dates to mark your calendars regarding Kindergarten Orientation, New Family Night, AMS Open House, and other important school events that are right around the corner.
Enjoy the relaxing pace of summer by having fun, making memories, and enjoying time with family and friends. I look forward to seeing many of you on August 27th!
